Help 24 Barrenjoey students compete at the Gold Coast Titans All Schools Touch Football Competition, the world's largest touch tournament.

Our annual P&C Trivia Night — Saturday 14 November, 6:30–11pm in the school Hall. Trivia, a mechanical bull, a silent auction, DJ and dancing. Wild West dress code, dinner provided. Over 18s only.
$60 a ticket · tables of 8 · over 18s
Weekly after-school football training at school for current Barrenjoey students, led by former Socceroo Nathan Burns. Eight Thursdays from 22 October to 10 December, with half the cost covered by the P&C.

Avalon Village becomes an open-air art gallery from 7 to 22 November. Spot it, love it, buy it — every artwork sold helps raise funds for Barrenjoey High School.

Every contribution helps make Barrenjoey better for every student.
The Barrenjoey High School Parents & Citizens Association is a dedicated community organisation working to enhance the educational experience of our students. We believe that by bringing together parents, citizens, students and teaching staff, we can create a more positive and enriching high school journey for every child.
(a) Promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation, and
(b) Assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
The P&C raises funds to directly benefit our students and school community. Here are some of the initiatives we've made possible.
Our annual community art fundraiser
A P&C community initiative run entirely by volunteers. In 2025, 31 artists and 34 local retailers turned Avalon Village into an open-air gallery, with more than $26k in art sales — up from $10k+ in its first year.

Funding for equipment, facilities, and programs that directly benefit students — from creative arts resources to wellbeing initiatives.
Air-conditioning on the way
Department approval is in for classroom air-conditioning, and the P&C has approved air-conditioning for HSC exam spaces. Trivia Night 2026 is raising funds towards it.
New lighting, installed in the July holidays
The P&C worked with the school and the Department of Education to secure new lighting on the rear driveway and around the Hall and car park.
Surf, Snowsports, Touch Football and CAPA
P&C support helps students represent Barrenjoey on CAPA tours, at the Australian Interschools Surfing Championships and at the Titans All Schools touch tournament. Our Snowsports students stood on the podium at national level, proudly wearing jackets funded by the P&C's Warren Miller movie night.

Thanks to a wonderful community effort — our raffle, the team's own bake sales and car-boot sales, and the generosity of local supporters — 20 Barrenjoey students made it to the Australian Interschools Surfing Championships on the Gold Coast. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, baked, donated and cheered them on!
